Yes. When a contract of employment is in force, the modern reward that covers that job no longer applies. An employee is not “no bonus” simply because the weekly wage or hourly rate is higher than what is required by the bonus. An employee receiving a bonus is covered by the bonus and is entitled to all the benefits specified in the bonus, usually based on the rate of pay of the over-allotment.
